Cancelling an Appointment
Appointments can be cancelled by either calling the surgery on 01749 342 314 or by sending a message via the online service system. Appointments can also be cancelled using the NHS App.
Please give us as much notice as possible if you are not able to make your appointment so we are able to utilise the time for another patient.

Home visits
Home visits are made by our Surgery Paramedics or a Dr. If a patient is housebound, or too ill or infirm to come to the Surgery, please telephone 01749 342863 Monday to Friday and give the Patient Services Team as much information as you can to help the doctor assess the urgency of the visit.
Nurse and HCA Appointments
How to book - Practice Nurse appointments
Practice Nurse appointments should always be booked in advance as these clinics can get very busy. (You may usually book up to 6 weeks ahead).
How to book - HCA (Health Care Assistant) appointments
HCA appointments are usually available on a range of dates but on Fridays we are unable to take bloods after midday on Fridays.
FCP (MSK) Physiotherapist Appointments
Appointments are booked firstly with Grove House Surgery but First Contact Physiontherapists work across the Primary Care Network (PCN), so you may have an appointment with one of the other Surgeries within our PCN
You will need to contact Grove House Surgery to book these.
If you need to cancel them you should call the other practice directly and re-contact Grove House Surgery.

Health staff working in other Surgeries for these appointments will have access to your medical records.
Out of hours
Please note that the surgery does not open on a Saturday or Sunday.
If you need medical assistance after 6.30pm, at weekends or bank Holidays, you should telephone NHS 111 by dialling 111 – calls are free from landlines and mobiles,
If you have an urgent problem please contact NHS111 online or call 111.
